Family of woman who died from flesh-eating bacteria sues hospital

When someone goes to a hospital for medical treatment, they expect to receive the appropriate care. This does not always happen, though. One dentist says that neglected daily oral care in nursing homes is "an epidemic that's almost universally overlooked."

Kentucky Infant's death leads to lawsuit

A hospital and two physicians in Fort Logan, Kentucky, as well as a clinic in Stanford, have been named as defendants in a medical malpractice lawsuit by the parents of an infant boy who died last month. The mother and father, who live in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, filed the lawsuit in the Lincoln County Circuit Court last month.
